I’d like to see them bring a Megane RS Trophy.  Oh this is the other euro company?  I’m all out of ideas.

ORRRRR

I think the pricey real estate is a big cost for dealers. But I think all new car dealers get a floor plan subsidy to help off set that cost. Related, I think it would be great to have more car vending machines in town. And then keep most of the inventory parked at less expensive land further away.

Isn’t that what we have now, except the wireless telemetry?

What kinds of expense?

I’m okay with waiting 15 minutes for the work to begin. But the 45 minutes I waited is poor dealership service management. I wait less than 15 minutes at the doctor’s office. And I get a survey from the doctor’s office to see if the met that metric. The dealership survey focused mostly on amenities, coronavirus

What kind of after sale dealer support?

I prefer to buy direct from the mgf. The only time I go to the dealer after purchase is for warranty work.  And the purchase experience was not good.  And the warranty work is not good.  Why do they schedule an appointment if I have to wait 45 minutes after the appointment start time for them to begin the work?

How dangerous are the idle wells compared to living near a highway or other industrial area?

Just call it what it is - two plane crashes.  This is jalopnik.  Do we call car crashes incidents?  No.

I’m not sure a golden parachute counts as being fired.  Sure the old CEO doesn’t work at Boeing anymore.  But I think the OP mean fired as a punishment and not as a reward.

That’s the problem.  The band-aid of a redesign is what they should have done in the first place.  Now that they proved they can’t be trusted to do the job right the first time.  It’s time to recycle the 737 Max for parts because the real redesign should have started from a clean sheet.

I’m not an expert, but this looks like a design failure from the beginning.  MCAS looks like a band-aid on having too big of engines on the 737,

Would the pilots have crashed the plane on a non-MAX?

I agree the engines are too big for the plane.

The 2 crashes were not a maintenance issue, but a design issue.

Scrap all of the 737 Max for the raw materials. Send those responsible to prison, including those at Boeing and the FAA.

Cats don’t forget.  They are waiting to see if you forgot.
