Didn’t they go out of business or was that Faraday Future?

What’s a distributor?  I burn diesel.

That reminds me, I think Craftsman will check the torque on my torque wrench for free the first time.

GOJO also works on hair.  Also, make sure your face isn’t in the way of the oil drain pan.

2. This may be common knowledge, but slightly tighten (or try to tighten) a fastener before removing it. We are talking like, half a hair. This can help make it easier to remove.

Save weight with PVC pipe

Let’s meet in the middle.  Buy a new car and keep it for a super long time.

I’ll second this.  It makes such a big difference.

Star for diesel

I know what you mean.  I changed the diesel fuel filter the first time.  It took 12 hours.  The second time was about 30 minutes.

You don’t need a starter.  Just park on a hill and pop the clutch.

Nice!  I imagine the EVO is tough to work on?

Ugga-dugga is not actually a measurement of torque.  But good-n-tight is.

Sad, but true.

Spray contact cleaner for the part of the powertrain you are working on.  It will help find leaks or confirm that you don’t have any since the last wrench day.

Use gloves.  Busted knuckles show everyone how tough you are.  But isn’t it nice to not have busted knuckles too?

I don’t have a fraction of the wrenching skills you do. And I am envious. I sit at a keyboard for work and some when I am not working. Keep living the dream so we can see what it is like.

The best part is when there is a patch of ice and all the 4x4s are in the ditch.  But it warms up in the afternoon and all the ice is gone.

Which Cruze diesel engine do you have?  Does it torque / boost make it a challenge to accelerate from a stop in the snow?  I have the 1.6 TDI Cruze with a clutch pedal.  Sometimes I don’t add throttle and just and disengage the clutch quickly and I will get wheel spin on snow.
