funny, I was wearing an anti-Bush sticker on a rental driving across AZ when somebody tried to intentionally run me off the road!!!! On the freeway!!! I pulled right back and left him to go on.. and YES, he was driving a pickup!

one word! Armco!

most ISPs offer this for Free in France when you sign up for a VOIP line (instead of a traditional line.) + all my calls to landlines in most countries of the world are free. Not bad for 30€ a month!

Yep, as mentioned in the companion piece. I am much happier hooning around in my new Mini Cooper (non S) than I was going WAY too fast in the Z4 I had for three years.

Funny, I had a Z4. Got sick of having to drive fast to get thrills (as it was so good on the road I had to do 100+ for kicks.) Sold it and got a Mini cooper, now 60mph is fun... much more fun.. and less likely to kill me and others!

This is actually a good idea. They run this scheme in France, and new drivers have a lower national speed limit for one year. They also have zero alcohol tolerance for newbies. Get caught and you have to start the whole procedure to get your license again. Expensive as there are a whole lot of mandatory lessons.

might help if Clarkson wasn't such a lying SOB! He inferred that the Tesla he was testing ran out of charge when they were testing it when in fact none of the cars ran below 20% charge at any time. I LIKE Clarkson's quirky reviewing but cannot countenance him lying (by inference in this case.)

That's weird, I used to have a Citroen BX Gti, and it did exactly the same thing to me!

This is just so untrue...

Wow, I had EXACTLY that model, and it did drive through sand dunes (though not on purpose!) the adjustable height suspension made it great fun for pseudo rallying!

and France gave America the Cadillac - look it up!

wow, take the ugliest car available in the world and make it even uglier!

as soon as I saw that it screamed "Russia" but actually looks like it is Lithuania - so only EX-Russia!

Hmm, and how much did the judge get?

Jeez, it looks like a Nissan (before they improved their styling!) Bad bad Jaguar...

She is scared out of her head - watch it with the sound turned down!

I HAD one of these when I was 18. It was GREAT - handled brilliantly through the alps, but I had to replace the ignition switch with a rocker switch on the dash and none of the electrics really worked. It was a really cool car (apart from the seriously ugly green colour!) My mum thought it looked like a roller skate!

Cadillac's are FRENCH! (Well Monsieur Cadillac was anyway!!!) What an UGLY car! I would rather have aNY other car!!!

yeah, American cars... corners... bad mix!!! (I know that they are BETTER than they used to be, but throw that round a corner next to an Alpha Romeo and guess which one is going to handle better!)

With good stockings this DOES work. I know somebody who got home that way many many years ago..
