OMFG, that was great! Just wanted to thank you for the best laugh I've had in a bad few days & for taking the time to break it down like that :-)

Could be a stupid question but what about the Wolverine movies, the last 2 Xmen, etc.? I honestly don't know - are they not considered Marvel movies? Thanks!

Not to criticize you at all, but check out "Penelope's" post. Perhaps it did need to (and deserves to be) put into words so as not to mistake it for some "sexual stuff" that "pales in comparison" to having one's mind controlled & perhaps therefore shouldn't be the focus. Sorry, again, not criticizing your comment at

To be physically raped is basically by definition to lose one's free will, one's autonomy over something sacred - one's own body. Rape is not just some 'sexual stuff'. There is no "free will" in rape, with or without the element of mind control. It is the complete lack of agency, of free will, of consent by force

That was just brilliant - thank you

Thank you and agree. Our whole history as a species has been filled with people being drawn to/joining some very crazy cults/religious sects and doing some scary shit in service to their beliefs as a reaction to whatever they don't understand, can't explain, want an answer to, want to know the meaning of, etc. etc.

Love your insight that even if the face of chaos, life goes on. My take away of all the mayhem, burning, general craziness that was going on was the seriously fucked up people who've been camped out in the park doing some really bizarre shit all season finally had a chance to bring all that to Jarden once the

Fuck me - for some reason that just conjured up some "Flowers in the Attic" brother/sister image!

Totally understand what u mean. I'm late to the party - didn't really start getting into the show until NuWho so first real exposure was Eccleston & his leather jacket, then adjusting to Ten's skinny man in suit w/ Converse, then Smith's bow ties & fez, etc. All of the Doctor's & companions have felt different to me

Aaah! Would slap head but fucking migraine -:). Thanks much - now I can I just go back & watch 2 eps instead of all eps w/ Clara…aww, who am I kidding? Been watching my "best of Clara" eps since Heaven Sent

Decent interview on radiotimes w/ Moffatt about the guitar playing punk daddy being Capaldi's idea - a throwback to his own Glasgow early roots. At least it finally settled a running argument between me & my hubby about whether or not that was really Capaldi playing! I've thoroughly enjoyed this series punk space

Feel very silly for asking but would love it if someone could refresh my addled memory?! How was Missy responsible for introducing the Doctor & Clara?
This is where I lurk to get THE best, funniest, most insightful comments on all my fave shows so of course my first post has to be what seems to be the dumbest question
