Well, holy shit.
Well, holy shit.
I've watched Buffy multiple times, and every single re-watch has given me new appreciations, or reminded me of something I'd forgotten (but fortunately it doesn't "double me over in pain.")
I doubt I'm the first (or hundredth) to say this but I feel like Jerry Horne will either be connected to or mistaken for one of the charcoal hobos.
It didn't feel like an hour's worth of story. When the Bang Bang Bar logo appeared I thought "hey, getting here early this week I see," and then 5 minutes later Kyle Mclachlan's name appeared.
Super Mario Land 2 is brilliant, but I recently replayed it and was surprised by how quickly I completed it.
Tales of Symphonia was an awesome game that in my opinion doesn't get the attention it deserves.
Yeah there were a few of those rabbits knocking about, unless I'm misremembering.
Janey-E had a biological urge. Dougie had a biological reaction.
I dunno man, I found it pretty uncomfortable even while laughing at his flapping arms and shit-eating grin.
I keep wondering whether her "aggressive" attitude in conversations when she's with Dougie (e.g. with the police officers) is a deliberate thing to distract them from Dougie's deficencies. But then there'll be another scene 10 minutes later where she seems completely oblivious to it herself.
I'd say more "ineffectual" than "rubbish."
Oh Christ, McGann would have been a wonderful replacement for Eccleston. It still grates that he declined to participate, though I'm sure his reasons were legitimate. But as I've mentioned elsewhere ad nauseum, I bloody love McGann's Doctor and it would have been great to give him some "proper" screen time.
Ah, well I stand corrected!
I had literally two criteria for the new Doctor:
They are, and he also has the honour of being one half of probably my favourite Doctor/companion pairing (the other half being Evelyn Smythe.)
Spare Parts is 5th Doctor and Nissa I believe.
I believe it was Capaldi who said it as his eyes appeared onscreen and I'm fairly sure I remember the distinctive Scottishness of it.
What annoyed me about that whole thing is that Rover mentions in The Angels Take Manhatten that The Doctor wasted regeneration energy to heal her wrist, and then (as far as I remember) they didn't even count it into the total regenerations. So how was it a waste? And how was he able to use the energy if he was on his…
9th, but yeah. He's the 9th incarnation of the living being, but he's not an incarnation of The Doctor because he actively renounced that title.
That's been my reaction to every new Doctor except Capaldi who I already knew from The Thick of It.
