Why does that Taurus have its rear plate screwed into the trunklid?

Generally where you’d see a diagonal downtube from the main hoop to the rear strut towers, so lotsa ‘crumple zone’ back up there.

“Safety” bumpers and sealed-beam headlights... dear Christ that was a dark time for European cars being sold in the US...

Now playing

Misfortune for one, opportunity for another. I’m sure Kobayashi is like okay, overtaking time!

good thing it was raining... you know why :]

Oh cool, thanks. YouTube told the truth.

Well, Cruze in Japan is a totally different Cruze then the one Americans know.

IMO, only a child's hand can fit in to. Same with my car.

I'm my own mechanic. Everything goes perfectly with everything I do.

Wasn’t there a post a while ago about a calculator for hp [function] drag = top speed? If I remember right some Saab only needed 400hp to do the 200mph deed.

I don't know about the German plants, but in the us, 50% of the plants power is from turbines running off of methane reclaimed from a local landfill. I wouldn't be surprised if the power for the German plants was something other than coal.

The dry cinnamon flavored cardboard that we call a danish is an insult to the country and the true dessert that bares its likeness exceeds our American version in taste and butter content. The perfect combination of butter dough, cinnamon, and sugar that the Danes produce melts in your mouth and tastes like you're

The slow intermittent setting for my wipers is too slow, and the next step up is usually too fast for our Arizonan "rain". Since I'm in the arid zone, I have some really cheap wipers that squeak terribly if they aren't pushing enough water. I'm always fiddilling with my wipers too.

Yeah, I see that every once in a while, and it's unnerving. "Don't you see them? Don't you know how to turn them off? They'd better be broken, or you should be embarrassed." Of course, I spend way too much effort adjusting the wiper timing when it's raining out, maybe I'm sensitive.

Looks like he was flooring it trying to get away after he rolled. Or he's just doing a burnout for an epic finale.

A Volvo 240 (Jalop sweetheart) rear ends the only TSX wagon in the country (another sweetheart) with what looks like an early 90s Celica looking on, what are the odds?

And that's why you should have mandatory regular inspection in the US, like the rest of the civilized world.

"Road safety isnt a 'speeding' problem its much more a bad driver problem!"
