I traveled, but only because I lived in a really rural part of the county where trick-or-treating was not possible.

But some people (poor college students, e.g. me when studying abroad) are totally willing to put up with all of that. I couldn't have afforded to visit half the places I did without RyanAir. It's not great, but it gets you places cheap! And if you know that going in, it's fine.
