I have a belt drive and it is quieter than the chain drive. However, it’s still not quiet. My parents have a screw drive opener, and THAT is quiet.

What about using those spray sunscreens? Those do seem to work better than the lotion kind, which, i always seem to miss at least one spot with. But with the spray, i can go over areas a couple times to make sure i’ve got them covered.

i bought a Stir Crazy popper a year (or so) ago at a garage sale. something like $2 for brand new. it is the best tasting popcorn!! Way better, and WAAAAAAY healthier than microwave. Movie popcorn tho, is still pretty damn good.
