I tried the chocolate chip cookies this week, using vegetable shortening and small mason jars. The result was delicious, but a little too loose. Picking up the cookies resulted in them falling apart. Not as good as the crème brulé I had made earlier. I think chocolate chip cookies are best suited for the oven.
