Am I missing something here? It sounds like it was just a contest. There was no expectation or request for a favorable review in exchange for the voucher, the company just asked them to tweet their step count with the tracker and the person with the most won.
Are we trying to pretend this doesn’t happen all the time with bloggers ?
This reminds me of something... Oh yeah, its those “sponsored posts” on Gizmodo that look suspiciously like a REAL post, but are actually an advertisement.
But the watch looks like a Nike+ SportWatch mated with an AppleWatch.
Ya I don't get it, how is this different from accepting PR cash for coverage or the sponsored posts that gizmodo does. Just the fact that it wasn't blatantly stated?
