my previous car was a demo. i got it with under 9k on the odo and drove it for 12 years and another 199k miles. Besides brakes and batteries it did not ask for anything. Just thye regular maintenance including timing belt and water pump.

yeah? actually i do what you said in the second paragraph with a WRX, except the towing. Most of the people at my work that have trucks bought them for vanity, only one is using it for truck stuff. Hell we have a RAM 2500 megacab just for the “biggest, most redneck thing possible”, according to the owner.
why would you tune for something that you are not using on a day to day basis? Unless once you are done with the test and tune you go back to a regular map?
