Maybe it’s the fact that I drive a manual trans V8 Mustang and have for a long time, but I found the EB autotragic Mustang to be a really bad experience. Maybe if it was a manual, I would have enjoyed it more but the autotragic, especially in sport mode was the most synthetic experience I’ve ever had in a Mustang.

lol, I had one of those too! She used to tell me suicide is something brave people did. I don’t think my dad really understood why I didn’t give two shits about her when she died.

Y’know how you can tell when “ok boomer” is relevant to you... a Ferrari 288 GTO didn’t make the list... sigh... also doesn’t help when some bastard thinks a 288 GTO is what that guy drove in that PI show.

They levy the same useless argument against Waze.

I wonder if this is a supplier only issue or was it a procurement problem? Did Ford spec a substandard part or did the supplier just build a bad batch of injectors.

Yeah, Bullitt never picks up outside of the chase scene. It’s just one big character development story with a little action thrown in. If you can appreciate a cop’s life going down the tubes due to getting tied up with a big government case, his subsequent disillusionment and probably losing his girl, then Bullitt is

If they used the samples from Bullitt for 7-Ups, then the little Pontiac was using a sample from a GT40 (although the firing order for the short deck Windsors and FE engines were the same which on balance was an oddity for Ford since they love to change firing orders). The other neat thing about the sample for the

Indeed, the big block 70 SS Chevelle was actually a pretty decent handling car for its era. It not only beat the snot out of Ford’s Boss 302 from the same year when it came to acceleration but also out handled and out braked the Boss 302 as well.

Coupes don’t qualify. A muscle car is easy to define - an intermediate two door sedan modified for performance. Coupes by their very definition fall into the compact vehicle catagory ergo don’t qualify.

indeed, Mustangs and Camaros have never been muscle cars and while the Challenger is ponderous it still really doesn’t qualify.

I wouldn’t say amazing so much as having top notch healthcare. That’s the frustrating thing about healthcare in the US. It’s gated by what sort of insurance a person can afford or has access to. This was driven home to me years ago when my mother had to have bypass surgery and she ended up in cardiac arrest due to

Huh, did the 928 get a transaxle like the 944? If not then a modern manual wouldn't be impossible or would be a lot easier than trying to source a transaxle that worked.

Well that’s certainly true but like shooting some baby batter in a petri dish and going in vitro has a much better chance of netting some offspring compared to jumping in the sack and wearing out the mattress one is more fun than the other.

tell us you drive a boring car without telling us you drive a boring car...

Throwing my vote in for the C8 as well and specifically the Z06. I know why GM went in for the DCT on the vette and with the Camaro going away it’s just a shame there wasn’t room to do otherwise.

Since every T.50 is spoken for there is a chance with the T.33 - maybe...

Just need to do two things - limit the tax deduction that allows heavy luxo -barges to be classed as “work” vehicles and extend the GGT to all vehicles (I think somebody mentioned it here but IIRC if the Raptor-R was subject to the GGT it would add over 7k to the cost of the truck). It’s patently silly that people get

Image is everything, those dog themed commercials and owner feedback have capital. At the opposite end of the spectrum was the Ford Excursion. Just a little larger than a suburban but man those things were the poster children for flagrant disregard for the planet. It was almost like Ford was running ads with the

Same here, no complaints since the trade-off is worth the cost of operation along with tires and oil.

I’ve been saying this for awhile - albeit with more sinister intent. Why not buy up some competition and “quietly” shut them down, then pick over the bones and keep the best bits and sell off the rest.
