Its less “no clue” than not paying attention and adjusting for the condition of the vehicle and the environment.

99.99999% of the increase is Region 3 is without a doubt the handiwork of Virginia. The fuckers are so bad at driving its a wonder insurance companies even bother to operate in the state.

Justified legislation - it’s a simple premise, if somebody modifies a vehicle and it compromises the safety and dynamic capability of the vehicle then it should be a no-go.

This includes all the “stanced” shitwagons on the road that run acute camber and tires too narrow for the wheels along with the pseudo drag cars

The Airforce has a training video for discouraging a behavior called “hot shoting” I believe where they rapidly seat and inflate the tires on an aircraft. The video shows the aftermath of almost instantly over pressurizing the wheel assembly which resulted in an explosion and cutting the tech in half.

They do earn good money and the guy is probably single and probably didnt fall into debt traps like the baller mansion, or have a family and so on ( plus its not unreasonable to think the guy might be smart with his finamces and is good at saving money )

I know a guy slinging tires that owns a 2020 Shelby GT350. Imagine that... some pissant laborer owning a car like that! And even crazier it’s his second Shelby GT350 ( first was a 2017 he traded a 2009 Shelby GT500 he bought new on ).

Welcome to VA!

Even better are the lunatics that run in the rain with the blinkers off and headlights off typically in pouring down rain in a grey car that disappears against the rain and overcast sky. The blinker crowd is only slightly better but for some reason in a state that mandates the headlights come on when the wipers are on

Nope... as long as you issue fair warning it’s game on.  Besides there are women out there that can certainly take it like a man and dish some serious shit and anybody engaging in fisticuffs would do well to never underestimate the opposite sex.

>>shrugs<< I think Mark Cuban called doge one of the best gambling bets out there. Way better than dropping a band playing the lottery or at the casino. The volatility can be a money maker if your willing to play. I started with a grand and ended up with over 30k at the peak.

That said, I’m not betting my retirement

Future Darwin Award winner...

Absolutely agree on the standardized charging network! I’ve been saying that for awhile and definitely one area where letting the “market sort itself out” is silly.

3rd gens are criminally underrated cars!

2nd gen and 3rd gen F-bodies rule!

As a survivor of the 80's and early 90's car scene I remember the dark days of Hot Camaro, Camarocraft, Popular Camaro and all the rest of the rags that ran the 1st gen cover cars and tech articles non-stop ( they even recycled general tech articles using the 1st gen cars in magazines

I’ve been committed to the coupe since 2002

Mach-E GT comes with mag ride so I’m sold! Ask me my favorite feature on my GT350 and the 5.2 isn’t at the top of the list.

Now if only I had the extra scratch laying around to buy one.

EV infrastructure is going to or has to ramp up pretty fast with the 2035 ice bans in several states coming up ( let alone Washington state’s lame attempt to leap-frog everybody else ).

Five years is probably a bit optimistic unless the infrastructure is completely in place in that time period - for most people

A little history with some thoughtful observation never hurts.

The 05/06 GT would still be pretty entertaining. Like the early Vipers its not equipped with a traction management system as I recall. Definitely not a car for the YOLO crowd that have fooled themselves into thinking they can handle a high powered car. While there is a quite a bit of refinement the newer GT demands a

I swear it seems like some people run high beams simply because it makes them feel “safer”. Years ago when DRLs were introduced I ran into a guy on a forum who said after the introduction of DRLs he started running his headlights to stand out from the rest of the vehicles on the road with DRLs.

Somehow I feel this is
