Hmmm.... so many to choose from... so I’ll go with the one that will get somebody a vocal comment tossed out the window and that is the knuckle heads that blow past a stop then roll right into the crosswalk. Bonus points for the bastards that start inching past the cross walk damn near into the intersection waiting

My learning curve was brutally steep. I got a job as a tire installer and when I told my boss I didnt know how he simply told me I’d better learn real quick or find a new job.

I had a buddy that would drive long distances like that. Drove me crazy like adaptive cruise control!

9 and 3 was the method I was taught in driver’s ed. Although they were fine with shuffling back then since manual steering and effortless power steering was still a thing and turning lock to lock was more like operating a windlass than a steering wheel.

Hmmmm.... an old guy who hasn’t been relavent to the sport since the 90's makes typical old guy irrelevant statement.

Probably a moot effort since most auto manufacturers are going EV rather quickly. Its almost pointless to drive even more strigent fuel economy standards when almost everybody is jumping onboard by 2030 or 2035 to meet the various ICE bans on new vehicles going into effect by then.

Hmmm... Anal Equator...

As a long time resident of VA - the state with arguably the worst drivers on the planet I’d say a hard pass on this unless your trying to finance the family with “suicide by shitty driver”.

2009 Shelby GT500 with drag radials on the back on a freshly paved off-ramp and temporary stripes laid down before they had a chance to paint them on the road. It had rained earlier in the day and even though the highway was dry the off ramp was a little damp as were the stickers. I pulled off the highway doing around

Good luck with that! Your talking about the gold standard for tribalism and toxic masculinity when it comes to a hobby and sport.

Indeed, people seem to be driving like lunatics, I wish these stories would really do a deep dive into the data to see what is really driving the numbers.

Well if we’re using the 85th percentile rule things could be a little faster in my AO especially in areas clearing setup as speed enforcement areas ( looking at you Hampton Va and Norfolk before and after the HRBT ) .

Left most lane on a higjway but you knew that didn’t you...

The same justification there is for selling vehicles than can run 80 mph and turn in 10 second 0-60 times. The ultimate capability isn’t as important as the asshole behind the wheel.

The Guigario Mustang was a sly attempt to gauge interest in the 2015 car before there was something more concrete.

I’m waiting to see how the pushrod 6.8 fits into all of this? It looks like it will be the default engine in the F150 when it comes to V8 power so as the F150 goes so does Mustang.

Yes, but the actual reliability is up for debate since its all anecdotal.

You are completely on target with that comment. So many people are obsessed with the performance numbers and not the total experience.

The predator evolves to become more lethal, more efficient!
