Well after reading the C&D shootout where the GT350 was crowned king I’ve been assured by Porsche and BMW fans that the Mustang bar none has the worst interior on the planet. Awash is a sea of hard plastic and faux trim that resolutely offends the senses and emtirely insuitable for a person of means and taste.

Indeed, the stripes on the hood should be centered with the lines on the road!

Right, really BMW tuned by Toyota.

Dont count your chickens before they hatch... the Supra could be enjoying the “camaro effect” where pent up demand drives sales then poof! The floor falls out and sales crater.

So “nobody” ever runs a car at a drag strip or runs a car at a road course or... wait for it... street races?

and before you tell me Tesla drivers don’t do the street racing shit I can tell you I’ve run out of appendages to count on where some knucklehead in a Tesla makes a point of showing me how fast they can gap my

Well thats the obvious one, next obvious one would be the US is such a shithole that it made somebody desperate enough to potentially knock a plane out of the sky so they could pay rent.

Dudes named Abdul everywhere " thanks asshole, as if we didnt have enough on our plate already! "

The caveat being would you use the car for its intended purpose? If a driver never intends on taking the car to the track then a good portion of its potential is wasted. That said in terms of overall performance the GT350 is well ahead of the Bullitt since that car is mostly a GT appearance package with a little bit

Truth! Those fuckers are like a nonstop Kanye West/Taylor Swift VMA award reel looped into eternity.

I think the last article I read that developed into a C8 auto-fellatio fest was about the GT350R receiving the GT500 suspension upright or some such and predictably a C8 nut hugger was in there talking up the under

Fun fact - my GT350 FB group has a few horror stories about engine failures and oil consumption that has scared people into getting out of the car on the slim chance that an engine failure might occur.

The 59,995 price (unless GM extends it) an introductory price. Its scheduled to go up after the car’s debut model year independent of regular inflationary adjustments.

Toyota Camry

Meh... its a but of history and belongs in a museum with whatever baggage goes with it. No need to sugar coat or down play it.

Not too shabby but if the Camaro was a hot seller and it had a few less miles I suspect it would be a bit more. The 2019 1SS 1LE (no other options) starts at just over 41k.

My point is though the Challenger is able to leverage its older chassis and cheaper price with some of its hotter models where Mustang and Camaro

Neutral: Cheap options in my retirement portfolio. A plurality of coworkers lost huge sums of money and pulled what was left and stuffed it the absolutely safest spot they could find and still haven’t recovered.

I admit I gave it some thought but the line was crossed rather quickly where I would have done the same and

Yep, that’d be it. If you could get a Shelby GT350 for the same along with Mustang GT PP2 and SS 1LEs for low 30's you’d see the average age plunge as well with those cars.

Yeah pretty much, its nice to know and good bench racing fodder but for the most part that’s about it. Outside of stopping distance. 0-60 and the 1/4 sprint the next most useful metric would be probably be slalom speed if your going in for anything less than a full lap with sector break down. Hell even lateral grip

Hopefully we’ll see that 150-194 stat to see how the aero works out.

Hmmm... Ive had a few and they mostly invovled going way too fast ( however this being jalopnik feel free to roast my ass in the comments and repeatedly tell me I should have died instead of >> insert relative or friend here << )

This! My company used to send us on ride & drives all the time in the tire business. While fun you learned a lot about the product in back to back comparisons with tires in the company’s line and with competitors. It also afforded you the chance to check out product you wouldn’t normally be exposed to (off-road tires
