If Ford doesnt attempt to enforce the contract then it opens the door for other owners to do the same and if at some point they decided to arbitrarily enforce the contract it would be an even bigger waste of money since the owner probably wouldn’t even need a lawyer and just show up…

I wonder where a CGI gas engine block falls in the weight savings department? I wouldn’t expect it to be terribly lighter but cast iron has some nice features over aluminum ( no need for liners aside) but its hard to beat aluminum for the weight savings and the ability to make intricate castings.

Heh.. good point but that’s good ammo for the fan bois. When I ran my GT350 at VIR I was able to hang with a C6 Z06 through the turns no problem (out of the turn better low and midrange plus lighter curb weight meant he could pull me on the straights to be fair).

Man I feel the exact opposite about the C6. I’d take a C6 over the C7 any day as the C7's only attraction to me is the performance.
