Is this one of those really smart comments that flew over my head?

Seems like he should have just turned off Twitter push notifications.

Former prosecutor here. In many jurisdictions (nor sure about New Jersey) it's not a legal decision for law enforcement to withhold/release the tape, it's a policy decision. Law enforcement can disclose evidence if it so wishes, but it's usually a really bad idea, for a number of reasons that the NFL could have

GOODELL: Hey, how bout that Redskins name controversy, I'd love to talk about that now. I say, let's change it! Who's with me??

Good question. As a Bears fan, I was mad at myself for rooting for a guy after seeing how many times he was involved in incidents of violence against a woman but when you put it in the context as the behavior of a person with a diagnosed mental disorder, I think it is certainly different than someone who doesn't. I

But kind of funny at least. Not everything has to be insanely, rolling around funny. It still managed to entertain a little and that's all we need.

amazed me when i first saw in the thick ILM book that the storm trooper line up was a matte painting! THAT'S fing hardcore...

What about Terrell Suggs?

Wrote a post before seeing this; I don't like pumpkin pie, but most pumpkin beers I have tried I do like.

Schlafly is the epitome of pumpkin beers.

My favorite pumpkin beer, by far! I've tried all the other top pumpkin beers (which are great), but Schlafly still takes the cake for me. The $12.99 price point kinda sucks but I still finding myself getting one sixer a week during fall. I bought a case last year... didn't last long.

Hell yeah, a fellow Schlafly drinker! Are you from STL, or abroad?

If he's a 9/11 truther, his personality is probably not THAT awesome.

*What....When...Though...(I'll forgive u)...

Uh, this is kind of like someone reading your article- then saying, "I'm still a Floyd guy. Can't help it."

Oh boy. In an article outlining the problem with Mayweather apologists, you became an apologist for a man who exhibited the same behavior. If you can dismiss it with, "I can't help liking Chico", what exactly is your problem with the Mayweather apologists again?

Tl;dr: Mayweather was only right if you think that abusing and manipulating abuse for the purpose of getting under an opponent's skin which is a shitty opinion to hold.

I'm not saying that you are, and the rest of the piece makes it clear that you take this stuff more seriously than most of the other people covering the sport. It just struck an oddly dissonant note with the rest of the essay when I read it.

Floyd Mayweather is a misogynist. And not just a misogynist, but a batterer, and a serial batterer at that. This is a statement of fact that you will rarely see or hear from the professional boxing media, many of whom remain hopelessly dependent on the reigning box office king's goodwill for access.
