Well considering I read the comments on the actual local news story - yeah, they were 95% “who the fuck cares” and “funny.”

Perhaps it’s my upbringing (which by the way, was in conservative, rural, small-town Ohio), but my parents never made me feel different because I was a girl. They pushed me into science (where females are a minority), and even today I work in a male-dominated field.

Except the sign literally does not state anything ABOUT sex, alcohol, or drugs in anyway.

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the comments on this website, and I’m sorry, I just can’t. I am a liberal feminist, who has kicked men out of my home for making “funny” rape jokes. I don’t tolerate ignorance or stupidity when it comes to women’s issues (as my husband can attest).

Does anyone really consider cornrows on a white woman “chic?”

Agree - this is everything. I have tried so much dry shampoo over the years, and this not only gives my dirty hair volume and life, but it take the oil away in a snap!

I bought a pair of Teva’s this weekend at Nordstrom. I laughed because it felt so “1995” of me, but so many uses! Cabrewing? check. Grocery shopping? check.

I feel like maybe this makes me an asshole, but I kind of understand the other moms? Like, we all shit talk people behind their backs (“OMG did you SEE what Susie posted AGAIN?”), but these women had balls enough to say it to her face.

I think this is oddly brilliant.
