I completely agree, I was just using an exaggerated example. I just don't think that a car that is common in one market can be very collectable. Specific models maybe. I don't think anyone in the mid-60s thought the Mustang would be collectable but we now live in a time when they can change hands for hundreds of

That may be the case but you don't see many Ford F-Series trucks here. They're not collectable either.

Oh bloody hell, nibbles, you wanker.

My grandmother's next-door neighbour had one. Until someone broke into his house and its keys were stolen. Clearly they're desired already.

Hot hatches and performance VWs are as safe a bet as you'll find for a car investment. Being the last 3.2L Golf will help, too.

That's what I thought. You can't find a good one here for less than... Heck you can't find a good one. They're all modified to the point of disguise and it's £8000 for a nice one.

Here it's tough to go for a half hour drive without seeing one if the weather is anything except "complete whiteout".

Your trolling is of a particularly fine quality. I commend thee.

Clearly wasn't a good demo otherwise they'd have made more than 3 of them.

Ironically, since it is basically just a lifted hatchback, the only modification I'd be curious to see is to have it lowered by about 6". Now you've made me think about a rally-spec model and I'm seeing spoilers and vents all over it with muddy decals and spotlights, á la Mini Countryman.

That's Brian Blessed! He genuinely lives down the road from me. For those interested, he drives a Jaguar S-Type like he stole it. That's not to say that he hoons it, he just can't drive for shit.

Seriously? I thought we were talking about Spiegel's horribly infected member. You had to make it weird...

ha!

I believe it's a Fiat Brava. I can tell by the wheels and from having seen a few Fiats in my time.

The Texas plate says it all! They've turned it into a muscle car!

While I like the front, it's a horrid mess. The rear is where it all happens.

Definitely agree with you there. I love the whole car but the rear is its greatest angle.

I also own one but can't fault any angle. The front is just a bit too unconventional for some peoples' tastes but it doesn't look strange at all to me... Maybe I'm just weird.

If you like understated, the standard NSX had that covered...

Yo, Jalopnik. We heard you like videos, so we put a video in yo video so you can watch while you watch!
