I’m a bit at a loss here. What is their motivation for recycling these scenes? In most (or all) of the films covered here the animations are hand-drawn so there is no cost-savings in the production. They aren’t re-using any of the same cels. Obviously they have some reason to do it, but what is that reason?

There is plenty about which to criticize Ah-nold, but he’s truly amazing in that he’s risen to the peak or near-peak of three vastly different professions.
