I haven’t bought a game on the day (or the month) of release for a while because of these things. Such a shame developers resort to this mentality of releasing games and fixing them later with patches. Of course the odd bug can be overlooked, but a game that is broken in places like you mentioned…

It really does look fantastic and I love the art style!
But with the frame-rate problems it’s having I’m now ready to wait to play it on PS5, hopefully remastered to run at 60 fps and with ray-tracing.

Right now, the team are looking at possible ways of improving console optimization in Control, but as you can hopefully understand, these things do take time and don’t happen at the press of a button (as much as we wish they did).

So I finished Season 3 yesterday and I’m hoping it was the last one centered around Hawkins and these characters. Just like I feared it didn’t develop the story or the characters much, if at all.

Not really excited for it to be honest. Season 1 was great, Season 2 felt a bit unnecessary, and I don’t know what they could possibly bring to Season 3 that develops the story and the characters significantly... it looks like its main draw will be more 80s nostalgia and product placement.
