As long as Sony and third-party developers keep supporting it I don’t see why an improved model shouldn’t come out with the next console.

You’ll be waiting a while for a wireless VR headset buddy.

I’m glad they didn’t change more – it would have sucked for people (including me) who bought PSVR if they released a headset with better screens now so shortly after launch.

😂 You just call them whatever the hell you want, old school gamer.

Well, apparently not. Overwatch and Paladins are being referred to as “team shooters” or “hero shooters”.

You think Battlefield games are slow?
Sure, they aren’t twitch shooters, but most of the time there’s so much going on, you need to think quickly and stay on your toes to survive.

Maybe it was a stylistic choice and they want to retain the look of the original. While I agree it doesn’t really look current gen, there’s certainly a big jump in quality over the remaster.

Why do you think it’s bizarre? 🤔

I never got around to playing it, so I quite welcome the remake.

Do I still need Sonos’ software to play music? That’s what has kept me from buying Sonos, I want to play my music from iTunes and/or/via the Music app. The homePod will let me do that, so I’ll probably wait for that.

Ah thanks Mr. Smarty Pants, wouldn’t have guessed that’s personalization! While you’re here, can you tell me what’s that bright light in the sky that you only see by day? 😛

Those are not arena shooters. Quake or Unreal Tournament are arena shooters.

As it said in the article, Battlefield suffers from this for years now. How publishers can sell online-multiplayer games in regions without supplying servers to play on is beyond me. The Middle-East, India, Africa, South America... all those countries and more need servers in their region to play on.

Yeah, I kinda feel sorry for the dev team and Cliffy B. But I suppose there’s a reason arena shooters have practically died out. It’s kind of a bold move to try and revive that sub-genre, especially with a studio’s first game. Better marketing/PR would have probably helped as well.

Six months after the game’s release definitely is late. Maybe the PvP mode will bring some people back though.

If I remember correctly even beefy PCs struggled with this game when it came out. It has probably been optimised since. Still the question remains if the engine would even support that many players.

Yep, it came out in March 2017.

Good idea... if it doesn’t take another six months to make a Battle Royal mode. 😁

Before E3 Bluehole announced the game for Xbox and PS4. At E3 Microsoft announced their exclusivity deal with Bluehole – but they were vague and didn’t go into specifics. Apparently it’s a timed exclusivity deal and the Xbox version is the priority, but it should still be coming to PS4.
