That’s a damn shame. :(

I’m wondering if the enhanced power of the Pro will boost games that are not on that list. Like Battlefield 4 – if that game would run more consistently at 60 fps with fewer framedrops then I would think about getting one.
You went GLP?...
I played the beta and quite enjoyed it. The movement along with wall-riding felt great, hunting down the Titans was thrilling. But because of all the points you mentioned, I didn’t see me playing this for all that long. I’ll definitely give the MP another try after I finish the campaign.
Actually I agree, but five hours is still kind of short for my taste... I don’t want to finish a whole game in one sitting. 10 to 12 hours I think is a good minimum for me. Games that are longer tend to have worse pacing – Alien Isolation’s 20 hour campaign comes to mind – but I usually don’t mind.
I played the beta and enjoyed it. Not that much that I had to play it, but it was fun. Hunting down the titans has been especially thrilling. I’ll definitely give the MP another go when I get the game.
Apparently five hours is still enough to get you through the campaign, so they would have basically given out the whole campaign for free. I kinda understand where Respawn is coming from not releasing it on EA Access. Still, they could have let you play the multiplayer for five or ten hours – that might have actually…
Why thanks for letting me know how you feel about my comment without going into details whatsoever, man.
That’s nice to hear. I did enjoy the multiplayer beta, but it wasn’t something that I had to play. Definitely going to give it another go once I finish the campaign.
It sure gets a lot of praise from all around! Certainly going to play it once its price goes down a little.
At least for the campaign it does make sense to me that they didn’t release it on EA Access. You get to play for 10 hours with EA Access, right? Which basically lets you play the whole campaign and then some. That would definitely hurt its sales.
Yeah it’s kind of the ultimate praise you can give to something, which can be interpreted as hyberbole easily. But we also have to keep in mind that it’s her personal opinion, her personal pinnacle of the FPS genre... which is fine, it might just not be for many others.
The thing about this review, or reviews in general, is that it’s always ones personal opinion. It did sound like Heather enjoyed it quite a lot, and if to her it’s her personal pinnacle of the FPS genre then that’s fine... we’ll just have to keep that in mind I guess.
Thanks! I’ll definitely give the game a shot once it’s price drops a little.
I really appreciate your honesty and I didn’t doubt that the game left a lasting impression on you. It was just that last sentence that I thought was a bit much, and I don’t think your review needed it to express how much Titanfall 2 impressed you... but that’s just me. Don’t listen to me.

Sounds great. I’m usually taking my time with every game, explore and experiment a lot, so I should definitely get 6 hours out of it. But yeah, I’ll be waiting for a sale, as I usually do these days.
Well, it’s never a problem for the publisher, but it always is a problem for the players. Are you a publisher or a player?
Oh I was under the impression that EA owned Respawn, but I might be wrong.
I’m not saying BF4's season pass wasn’t worth it – to me it definitely was – I’m saying it’s strange EA doesn’t have one for Titanfall 2 because it would fragment the userbase while fragmenting an even bigger userbase with the BF1 season pass.
