They used Jay-z’s “99 Problems” for this BF3 trailer back in 2011, so it’s not really new. I kinda like it, the Seven Nation Army remix in the first trailer was awesome. Not too keen on the track in the new trailer though... who the hell is Wiz Khalifa (rhetorical question)? :)

So you’re comparing the lifespan of consoles prior to PS4/Neo to smartphones. Obviously I was comparing the PS4 Neo to a GPU upgrade, and so was the OP.

You need to get yourself informed about the PS4 Neo. Every PS4 game has to work on both models, you are not being locked out at all.

I don’t think it is, just because you can’t replace parts in a console. The PS4 Neo upgrade is basically what you’d get when you upgraded your PC’s GPU – even the cost is (presumably) the same, maybe even a bit in favor of the PS4 Neo.

So, pretty much like GPUs in PCs then? He should have made that comparison, it’s much more apt.

He is, ignoring the fact that PCs have been doing that forever with GPUs. But instead of making that comparison, he’s comparing consoles to smartphones.

It’s just a stupid comparison to make. If, judging by his remark about wanting consoles to die, WhySoCicero wasn’t such a PC master racist, he would see that the comparison with PC graphics cards was much more apt.

Actually I can only base my argument on the original Mirror’s Edge, not having played Catalyst yet. I respect your opinion, but I can’t share it.

Not to mention your levelling in Dying Light is basically a race to the grapple hook so you don’t have to deal with large swathes of parkouring.
