1) Dallas is mostly full of ex-northerners, anyway. The first question you ask any Dallasite is, "So where are you from?"

You spelled "spelled" wrong. It's OK, you can still be our hat.
I never thought that was strange in any way. The markets are almost exactly the same.
I think a lot of people here are counting long drives as anything over 45 minutes. Yeah, you can blast death metal to get you home from the next town over, but for a REALLY long drive, you need peace and quiet and focus.
Long drives don't start until 24+ hours, definitely.
I'll notice the cost of a rear view camera every time I swear at it as I back up USING MY DAMN MIRRORS.
Probably will, but I'm not so proud that I won't change industries with the times.
I'm a firm believer that, until you are old and boring (~25), there is no such thing as a beige car. If you have the keys, it's something special.
Yeah, that's the point I was unsuccessfully trying to make. You can't compare driver success between F1 and NASCAR, because they're completely different. A driver that's good at one might suck at the other, and vice versa. At the same time, you can't make judgements when a driver like Mario Andretti is pretty…
So he drove NASCAR early in his career, won 7% of his races, and then later he raced F1 and won 9% of his races? That's not very surprising.
There's nothing worse than a charity which supports only the vast majority of the things you want it to support.
How many wins do former NASCAR drivers have after moving to F1?
Look, I don't like physics, but jokes based on blind ignorance aren't funny. It is physically impossible for a rooster tail on earth to reach 2.5 miles in length, due to air resistance and turbulent flow around motorsport stadiums.
I really thought the stingray was the 2nd easiest (after the mustang). Maybe nobody else has stared at as many coffee table corvette books as I have.
I don't follow NASCAR, but didn't they just put restrictor plates on the cars, and haven't they been hobbling them with decades-old technology, just to slow them down?
That's city (or state, not sure), but not federal.
Joke's on you. I don't have a job. I'm busy getting an education in a field that will actually be productive. I can't feel sorry for someone with a bachelor's in International Business and a resume that just says "project manager". That's not a job, and those aren't skills.
Oh, don't get me wrong. There's a huge gap in my memory from the end of the fox-body until the new look in 2005, when it comes to Mustangs. There's just something about that camaro that makes me want to slash its tires.
Don't be stupid. Energy companies love money. Why would they waste money preventing energy technology from progressing? Just because they make money off oil or natural gas now, doesn't mean they won't make money off solar in the future.
Yep. Low prices in CA are still higher than the highest prices in VA. You want lower prices? Contact your state government.
