I see nothing wrong with this either.

You destroy one custom tube-frame chassis with a prototype V12, that's a mistake. You destroy two custom tube-frame chassis with a prototype V12, that's jazz.

To be fair to Alabama, at least this time they found foreigners that could steal a potential American job.

My bad. Read "vented" as "slotted". You're right - Miatas have vented fronts, solid rears.

Miatas, at least the first two generations, have solid discs all around.

And AWD. Don't forget the AWD.

Does anyone know why Gawker started adding ?autoplay to all their pages with video? Really effing annoying.

I think it's Best Buy that started having spots reserved for "fuel-efficient vehicles". I liked parking my 12mpg cutlass there, because it was way more fuel efficient than the 8mpg I got before I gave it a tuneup!

So far, the voting is as close as it should be. $6,500 is a bit high for a roadmaster in good condition, but I know the person who buys it will love it like it's meant to be loved. Very narrow CP.

vs. Geo Metro.

You don't actually know the price of the Scion. Just throwing that out there.

The EPA sticker is all well and good, but then I have to look up an EPA sticker for every car I'm interested in - and as you say, the Prius PHV doesn't even have one.

Boomer Sooner. Never saw them practicing there, but I used to practice donuts on my bicycle in that parking lot.

5th: I know it's tough to come up with a new scale, but I hate this "MPGe" thing. Unless you can drain a car entirely of power and gas, and then put a gallon of gas in it, and then drive 126 miles, it doesn't do 126mpg. In fact, I'd wager that if you charged the battery fully, and put a gallon of gas in, it still

Grabbed this from near my house, and that's a major thoroughfare. Step out on the country roads, and it gets real fun, real fast.

Probably spraying down the radiator/intercooler with water. AutoX is pretty rough on the cooling system of any car, due to low speeds and lots of revs. Compounding that, I suspect he's got this particular setup dialed to within an inch of his its life for competition.

I'm more worried about the kid texting his buddies, not looking at the road because he'll get a little warning bell if he drifts out of his lane.

Tech like lane departure only furthers dangerous driving. If people paid attention to the road, and only drove when they were competent to drive, the roads would be safer.

Re: #5 - In absence of the rotors, I would also accept a sound booth that just plays the engine note forever and ever.

My current road trip car cost me $8600, not $25k. I change the oil every 5000 miles, which is twice as often as Honda recommends, and it costs me $20. My car has 155,000 miles, bought it with 113,000, will likely get to 200,000 before I sell it to someone for around $4k.
