@noursegod: What's wrong with them? #1 best minivan for a very long time. Piles of crap, but definitely #1 best minivan. Easy to work on - except the last spark plug. Fuel filter (And the tank, too) are a pain to deal with. Other than that, just your average mediocrity. They generally last forever.

@luisthebeast: Sucky, sure. But it changed the face of the american car industry, and that's impressive.

One of these caught fire in my friend's driveway. 45 minutes after he parked it.

@dangertree: True suckitude requires awful design mixed with awful engineering. This car does not suck.

@Peteski: I think I found the race series for you.

@JayP71's new car is worth 135 jalop points: I had a buddy in high school who's uncle was a minister. He had a white crown vic, and he had a blue stripe down the side, with a round logo on the doors. The logo was for the church, but for some reason, nobody ever went faster than him on the highway...

I know most people have been on the wrong side of it (or perhaps the wrong seat) and have a bad view, but in terms of accomplishment, it's hard to argue with the impact of the P71 Crown Vic.

@David Jankowski: Sorry to hear your 2002 is so lonely. If you'd like, I have a space in my garage for it. You know, as a special favor for a fellow jalop.

@JonZeke: #1 is almost exactly Jay Leno's reason for supporting the appliance-ifying and green-ifying of the automobile.

@Piloter: Did you do anything gear-wise, after moving to 17s? I'm pretty sure that alone would kill the fun in most small cars - that's quite a ratio change, especially with the less power-endowed among us.

@Bumblebee: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Power edition?

I quite like it. It appears Mazda is working their way through the emoticons. KODO is the :| to Nagare's :D

I don't know what it is, but I actually really like the exterior. It's maybe 20 years late to the party, but I think it's a great looking car from the outside.

@Alfisted: I'd completely forgotten about that man. What an epic story.

@Dirt Pirate: Good god, it sounds like the extremely angry offspring of a chainsaw and an impact wrench.

@jeff-the-ffr-fan: Oh yeah. I mean, they were poorly equipped from the factory, and way overpriced, but I think they were a fantastic idea. I like the idea of that Hemi, and it sounds like they've got some sort of custom gearbox - I have no problem with an automatic in a hot rod. Sounds like it would be fun to

@stoke: Put in something silly, like a Packard straight-8. Sidepipes. 2-speed transmission.

I don't think there's a car on the planet that I couldn't find joy in driving - but if I was ever SEEN driving either a PT Cruiser (looks just like a chinese hearse) or a Sebring convertible (most generic car ever produced), I might be embarrassed just because everyone I know has heard me talk trash about them.

@stoke: I'm not sure if it's ironic, or just silly, but I love the idea of hot-rodding a prowler.
