@abgwin: the problem here is going to be build quality. Brand new, there are more squeaks and vibrations in one of these (2009 being the most recent model I've been in) than my wife's 2001 accord. Numbers aren't everything, or the Suzuki SX4 would actually be a better car than the Mini Cooper.
