I was at the Nerdist Minneapolis show and it was GREAT, but most of the audience comments were fucking ridiculous, and I'm glad Doug was there to make that obvious. Chris did a good job making them feel okay, though. I haven't listened to the edited one though, so I don't know if they left in the guy that went up

Yep - podcasts have introduced me to SO MUCH more comedy than I'd have ever found before. I live in the Twin Cities, so we don't really have a comedy "scene" here. I'd never had heard of anyone except for people who were on Comedy Central. I heard of Pete Holmes that way. And Nerdist just created its own audience that

Comedy Bang Bang is hit or miss for me. I can't stand "Ice T" and several other "guests", but there are times when it's excellent. Notably when Adam Scott or Sarah Silverman are on.
