Tim Burton's directing choices have deteriorated so much in the 27 years since Beetlejuice that I'm inclined to believe this will be a forgettable mess. And I'm sure Johnny Depp will be right in the middle of it, as usual.

I love the original dearly and would love a good sequel... but when was the last time Tim Burton made a good film? Actual question.

Oh God I am torn between thinking this is the worst idea of all time and being so excited that it might possible be good. It won't be, but I can hold out hope until the day it is released.
