Of course women were counting wrong. Math is hard! I'm so glad they were able to clear this all up for me.

It's because women are generally weaker than men. Their bodies can't withstand the same feature writing heavy lifting that men's bodies can. It's not sexism; it's truth. Something, something, quit bringing sex into the mix. THAT'S being sexist.
That's a Norwegian letter, the Swedish spelling would be Björn...
Yeah everyone with amnesia does….
Ah. Thanks. This keeps getting conveniently left out...
He lived in Sweden off and on for 20 years.
The Bjørn Identity.
Could we start by filling out Male Privilege? Its been in an edit war for a long time with only one presumably female editor, and like 10 angry men a few of which are obviously MRA's. It actually looks as good as I've ever seen it today.
have you seen that Chelsea Manning's wikipedia article is locked for editing because there's a huge war on wikepedia about the pronouns and all that. It's infuriating how many people are so transphobic and completely ignorant of the fact that sex and gender are two separate things.
It's a fucking crime that Debra Wilson is so underrated. The late 90's early 2000 MADTV cast could blow those fuckers at SNL any day of the week. Her Whitney Houston skits were pure gold. That reminds me that Franchesca Ramsey (Shit White Girls Say creator) auditioned for SNL and didn't get in.
Is it seriously still just Ellen Cleghorne & Maya Rudolph?
Hillary Duff's #1 Fan
I find it inexplicable that anyone is paying attention to Myspace these days...
Since Filipacchi broke the story and other news outlets picked up on it, Wikipedia has begun re-adding women to the list. They've also added an American Men Novelist category.
I vote to start a petition replacing all instances of "chick lit" with "cliterature". I think the idea of gendering our books is stupid, but if we must, I want it to at least have an awesome name
Thanks for the link! That was a very interesting "peek behind the curtain" - I especially liked the part when a few responses were deleted with the argument that they only became editors to make this one point...with the rest of the group then chastising the deleter and saying "how can you expect people to get…
This makes sense, as men are incapable of reading literature written by women, which is also known as cliterature. When they open one of our books, they hear the yawning screech of vaginas, and are likely to be sucked into our hysterical ramblings, never to be peen again.
I used to be a Wikipedia editor but I quit because people were so hostile to me. Wikipedia editors pay a lot of lip service to "how to fix the lack of women issue" but when it comes down to it they won't defend female editors from the massive hostility they face on the site. Editors will hide behind barely disguised…
I thought the discussion on Wikipedia about this was actually quite interesting, as the majority of the discussion skewed towards the 'this is wrong, fix it' voting.
What would happen if the original list became 'too long'? Would we run out of room on the internets?
