If your data is that important to backup, I would NOT risk shipping it. Instead, just buy an external hard drive yourself and copy files than move it off-location.

@MCWHAMMER: I always get the option "Always allow images from this sender" so I never have to click anything again. Also, I never undelete... I guess that does suck if you have to undelete stuff though.

@easy2panic: This is a five year old Olympus Camedia D-595, it has rolled down a mountain and it still works.

On my camera (I assume on most) you can hold the button half way down to set the focus, that way at the right moment you press it down all the way and it immediately takes the picture instead of waiting to re-adjust the focus.

I am waiting for the Dell mini netbook to get at or below $199. You save money if you buy better ram and ssd at newegg and swapping them in yourself than upgrading with Dell. (and you will also have the extra ram and ssd that you took out that you can do whatever with)

I used to think I was being more productive, and to an extent that is true. I was just being more productive using my computer. I forgot where I read it, but having large monitors in your room also takes up part of your psychological (or other similar term) space. It demands more of your attention. For example if

That's interesting. My computer is about 4 years old and has slower/smaller specs than your test machine, but I can boot XP and have Photoshop open in 26 seconds. ???
