Actually, a gap just changes the focal distance a bit and increases the magnification. I've used as thick as an OtterBox Defender and have customers that have used some pretty hefty cases with Easy-Macro.

It is! Any more to it and it wouldn't be nearly as convenient. I would point out that the lens is custom-molded with a rim to protect it from scratches and it comes with a Tyvek pouch to keep it safe in your wallet. So, I guess there is just a little more to it...

Not perfect, but the best bluetooth headphones I've found for me. I have lots of issues with other in-ear headphones fitting my ears properly. If these were waterproof and actually hugged my neck enough to not fall off when laying down, they would be absolutely perfect for me.
