Pretty tame. I’d traveled for work the previous two weeks, so I needed some R&R. The highlight was the UCLA comeback Saturday night against Texas A&M, although a close second was the tomahawk ribeye I grilled yesterday.

To be fair, Deauville has one of the largest nudist populations in the world, so it didn’t take much charm.
To be fair, I haven’t listened to his show much since Kannell got let go (usually I hear it briefly when I run out for lunch, but I’ve been listening to NHL Radio and soccer recently). That said, I know he and “Stanford Steve” were still yukking it up over how much they partied in college. I guess Ryen never stopped.
Eh, he’s a little too “bro-tastic” for me, especially when it was him and Kanell. There were times it sounded more like Barstool Radio (which makes me want to run my car off the road every time I hear a promo for it on XM) than a solid sports talk show. I get that you can’t talk sports all the time, but the best hosts…
I was in Eau Claire, Wisconsin last week and had Saugatuck Neopolitan Milk Stout as a “dessert beer”. What an incredible beer. Even though it was the pitch black of a stout, you really could taste all of the flavors of neopolitan ice cream. It’s definitely not an every day beer, but it’s a good treat as an after…
What I find most fascinating is that the clock was actually stopped when they did that because Jamabo went out of bounds. A&M should have figured out something was up at that point, but I guess they were already so stunned they weren’t thinking.
Somebody should have done this to Zack Snyder and David Goyer’s hard drive when they wrote Batman vs. Superman.
I’m questioning whether or not it’s a good idea to give them any more attention than they’ve already received.
Actually, with the stomach armor, it looks an upside down twig and berries.
Between that and the lack of nesting, Kinja is to comments what the Hoover Dam is to the Colorado River.
Stan Lee celebrated Jack Kirby’s birthday by spending what should have been Kirby’s royalty money on a new boat.
According to my wife, it hurts like hell to get hit there, so extra armor’s probably not a bad thing. The outlined six-pack is a little weird though.
Cue the “Kinjapocalypse Then” jokes in 3, 2...
Yeah, the irony is I’ve been a Deadspin reader for years, but the transition to Kinja has been awful. AV Club always had a pretty decent layout. Now it’s gone to the generic “scroll through 25 stories to find the one you want” that Gizmodo uses. It’s a horrible, user-unfriendly layout.
I merged my Kinja account with my Disqus one.
Welcome to Kinja, where article organization is an afterthought to making sure Kinja Deals are front and center.
I think TV will always be better than movies at twists, only because they have so much more time to build it up. The twist with Ward in Agents of SHIELD, in my opinion, saved that show and made a very bland character a lot more interesting. And the twist in The Good Place makes that show WAY different upon your second…
Hey, it worked!
I just got back from a work trip, so first post on the new AV Club after “claiming my account”.
They’re headed to the old mill!
