Pretty tame. I’d traveled for work the previous two weeks, so I needed some R&R. The highlight was the UCLA comeback Saturday night against Texas A&M, although a close second was the tomahawk ribeye I grilled yesterday.

Yeah, the irony is I’ve been a Deadspin reader for years, but the transition to Kinja has been awful. AV Club always had a pretty decent layout. Now it’s gone to the generic “scroll through 25 stories to find the one you want” that Gizmodo uses. It’s a horrible, user-unfriendly layout.

I think TV will always be better than movies at twists, only because they have so much more time to build it up. The twist with Ward in Agents of SHIELD, in my opinion, saved that show and made a very bland character a lot more interesting.
