People have to learn to maintain them selves first. I lived in Romania for 9 months a few years ago for work and most of it looks run down and falling apart. Buildings look like concrete structures rather than homes because nothing is kept up on the outside. Now when you went into someones home it was nice inside. I

Paraisópolis has got to be the most ironic name ever. You wonderful Brazilians.

this isnt rich and poor, this is poor and middle class.

I'm sure the income gap is very real, but I'm also sure the food and sense of community is much more interesting on the "poor" sides of town in these photos.

Must...resist...urge...to post...pictures...of...breasts.

Eat your heart out,Kim...

Very interesting buildings, but they seem less futuristic and more "dude I'm sooooo high right now..."

These buildings look absolutely incredible and that five mile track looks especially interesting. Can anyone with experience say whether it would be a safe/friendly place for me to visit as an American?

Unfortunately, a lot of J. Crew clothes already fall apart in the wash. :( I dig tissue tees and cute cardigans as much as everyone else, but I seriously do not want to be hand washing every single thing that I get from them. I think the quality ship must have sailed on J. Crew a long time ago.

On the other hand, in America, 66% of all new HIV cases in the US (63% MSM + 3% MSM/Drug

I would support a testing regime for people looking to give blood - but not just a list of gay men who are clean, I don't like the idea of that sort of list, it can be abused.

I'm Type O, would love to be able to give blood, but apparently where I like to stick my penis prevents me from doing so.

The article is pretty interesting, and I don't want to troll or anything, but it does a very poor job on explaining why exactly this implementation of DRM in Firefox is bad, and what it consists of.

And by the end of the last paragraph, you realise, that oh wait that trolling for commentary as a way to get discussion and repeat views, is exactly how gizmodo stays in business. It is all troll bait. Trolling for readers is the art that gizmodo has mastered. Set the cat among the pigeons or fan bois and watch he

Very calm. Know how to take a joke? Pretty sure I already know the answer though.

How was this done, logistically? You couldn't dump your own tray?
