You don't have to be a Luddite to see some problems with this design. I would never get into an autonomous car without a manual override so I can steer if something goes terribly wrong. And is no one worried about hacking? I would like to hear from other computer science folk here. Would you actually trust a car

Im in Chile. Nobody really considered entering a bid for 2022. I read one newspaper article about it, and that was the extent. I did find a tripod page though for santiago 2018 http://stgo2018.tripod.com/spanhome.html . We have absolutely no culture, tradition, or interest in winter sports outside of a casual interest

Luddites are the people who demand autonomous cars when we already have several forms of autonomous mass transit. The people who enjoy driving the "old fashioned way" are the crazy progressives of this era, like the hand-knitting hipsters.

There's a very good chance that Istanbul will host the 2024 Olympics. But there are very few places in the developing world with the climate (and winter sports culture) for a Winter Olympics outside of China and the former Soviet Union. The closest you could come would be somewhere not-really-developing, like

I've read somewhere in the news that the possibility of permanent Summer and Winter Olympics venues is becoming more and more real. The initial debate and selection process may well end up being a huge pain but the savings could really be worth it. On the other hand, it would be nice to see the traditional selection

Been there, done that, didn't work out :/

Oh, little buddy, oil and natural gas aren't even the same thing. Thought that was given but now I'm not sure we can continue the lesson.

You're so right....what the FUCK were the iignoramus parents thinking taking a fucking CHILD to a motherfucking aquarium?!

Woke up on the wrong side of the trash can, huh, Oscar?

Thank you, Spongebob Grumpy Pants, for being such a sourpuss.

Yes, it's on Wikipedia, therefore it must be true.

here you go...

I wonder that too. Like does my cat think I'm crazy for liking to take showers.

I wonder if seals have any concept of falling down and hurting yourself? Seeing as they spend their time either suspended in fluid or on rocks as streamlined low profile tubes.

I wonder if animals think we're naked monkeys, or if they misconstrue our clothing as some strangely coloured, strangely textured fur. We're like multicoloured, felted monkeys.

that's funny, I don't see any mention of the United States anywhere in that article.

That's not what they are talking about and it's not at your school.

Easy answer to what?
