In Seattle, down by the piers, they’re all over the place. My son & I got 1/3 of the way there in an hour this afternoon.

Tried it... it wasn’t fun. Don’t get me wrong - the nemesis system is great, and having powerful enemies is fine. Hell, the first time I encountered the codex & avatar I crapped my pants, died & laughed my ass off all the while. They were great additions to the game.
ARGLEBARGLE. Civ V has taken up a huge chunk of my life... but I am ready for VI, especially after the somewhat disappointing Civ V In Space.

What happened this week that The CW & FOX decided to kill their women & minority main characters? I’m looking at you, Arrow, Sleepy Hollow & The 100... this is ridiculous.

Ever since this article came out on Kotaku, I’ve been relentlessly playing Civilization: Colonization, the Civ IV Religion & Revolution Mod. Biggest godamned map on epic on a modern machine... I can’t stop.
Damn you. I loaded in the Civ IV: COlonization version and started playing with the absolutely brilliant Religion & Revolution Mod, and I went all night without sleeping. I blame you for trying to pour my ground coffee into my kids’ cereal bowls this morning.

This could be interesting... I get the powerdown and throwback, but he sounds an awful lot like Captain America now. As long as the writing & art are good, I’m in. Kinda reminds me of Tom De Haven’s fantastic It’s Superman! - a 2011 novel set in the 1930’s
