Yeah, endings are not King’s strong point at all. A perfect, more recent example is 11/22/63, which was terrific until the last 1/4 or so.

The story (from Perrette) is that Harmon brought his dog to set, and it attacked a crew member, who needed stitches from whatever injuries he sustained. Harmon didn’t think it was a big deal and continued to bring the dog, which Perrette took exception to, and she reported it to higher ups.

My wife and I just watched it over the weekend, and it was still a fun way to spend an hour and a half. As others have noted, nothing really groundbreaking, but a relatively fast-paced comedy that has some warmth to it, but not enough to make it overly or cheesy or anything.

Harding was probably my favorite part of Inquisition. I loved her reports and commentary.

That, and then the pause and “nah, it was dumber than that” line are perfect.

We started going through the process of looking for/buying a house last Summer, and my wife started watching HGTV stuff pretty frequently, and I watched some with her. Over time, we started watching more, eventually having what basically amount to hate-watch marathons of some of the shows.

Goddammit.

St. Louis: half the cost of Boston, all the racism!

You know, I am usually on board with most of your takes about stuff like this, but that goddamn “Brothers in Arms” portion of the episode killed me dead, so I disagree. I thought it was a perfect use of the song and the episode’s time, and thought “With or Without You” was a great thematic choice as well.

Also, as an

My theory for Captain Marvel has long been that she will swoop in, either at the end of the film or post-credits, and basically say that she is going to rock the shit out of Thanos. Since they’re not doing Adam Warlock just yet, it makes sense to me to introduce her in that way.

FWIW, immediately following the end of the game, there was a line of UK players shaking hands with KSU players. They showed it once on screen and then moved off, so I couldn’t tell you how many players did, but handshakes did happen.

Underrated comment.

Although, to be fair, the title track itself is more about drugs and such (IIRC), but whatever.

There are quite a few breakup songs on there; “Love Song” is more of an outlier, and it makes sense for it to be there. The second half really hammers it home, with the CD version adding two more tracks that add to that; the trio of “Disintegration”, “Homesick”, and “Untitled” is pretty much like the end times. At

I don’t disagree, it was just something that was a noticeable (albeit very minor) issue. Having some sense of tension is almost always better than than none. However, as you mentioned, the trial by combat scenes were excellent.

Yeah, some friends and I were discussing this, and T’Challa in the suit tends to suffer from Hulk Syndrome: he’s basically invulnerable, so there’s no real tension in fight scenes. Even in the fight scene with Killmonger when both were in the suit, it just seemed like an anticlimax.

Love the concept and this is a good list. However, Modell’s assertion regarding New Order’s best album is troubling, because Lowlife and Technique exist.

Shockingly, no. At least not that I have noticed.

Sonic’s Ultimate Chicken Sandwich is actually pretty decent, IMO.

+1 for random Burzum reference.
