I don’t need it. I don’t need it. I definitely don’t need it.

Whoa what did I miss?

“The battletoads thing”? I’ve never heard of this. Please enlighten me.

My long-time go-to answer has been Portal 2, for a very similar reason to why Outer Wilds is such a great candidate for a memory wipe. Once you learn to “think with portals” the puzzles are so elementary that there’s no challenge and no more “a-ha!” moments to be had.

Right? For some reason it’s so hard to convince people to try it out. I actually did convince a friend to play it though and he loved it too. It’s really so amazing

I was just talking to some friends about that game earlier this week. The fake bench is my favorite part of the game. My heart stopped. That’s a moment I'd love to experience again for the first time.

“Dee-koo” gang for life

WHAT

I remember buying Sword of Mana at a target brand new, just because the box art looked cool, not even knowing it was part of a series, much less a bizarro remake of the first game. And without the baggage of comparing it to it’s much better brothers (that I still haven’t played, same on me) I really loved it and still

Dingus is an underrated insult.

His bow tie was spinning the whole time. Beyond!

Man for real. I was talking to a friend before the show yesterday and he asked me “what’s the chance that we WONT get the last Smash fighter at the Game Awards” and I said “5%.” What a fool I am

I weep for you. I keep not having time to play it but the few levels I’ve played so far are good but I’m most surprised by how hooked I am on the card game. It’s gud stuff

Yeah I feel the exact same way. I think Spectre is every bit as good, arguably better than the base Shovel Knight campaign but I never clicked with how Plague Knight feels to control. I want to go back and try it again since they added the quick menu for bomb customization. When I played it first I think I didn’t

You’re right. Sorry for the salt. 3DS is legit one of the best platforms for this game though. I’m dying to get my hands on King Knight after work today

Idk 4 full campaigns for $15 seems like a steal to me.

What

I just kept on thinking about The Witness as I played this game. They give the same feeling of a world with its own concrete set of rules that already existed long before you got there, and you have to learn the language of the world to make progress It’s like the age-old Metroid style of progression, except the

I just want to add that the Pro Controller is a really really nice controller. It makes going back to the joy boys a tough time. But PowerA’s wired pro controller substitute is not half bad at all. I haven’t used the wireless one but I have no reason to assume it feels any worse. The wired controller feels just a

Bringing up Astroboy: Omega Factor in the Day of our Lord 2019? You’re a good man, Pete. Heluva man.
