The photography can really be a game changer. There’s so many shots out there of stars whose loose powder looks like they dove face first into a pile of coke (see Nicole, Angelina). I’ve gotten busted by the see through clothing thing too. Less photos or more undergarments for me ;)

I think she’s moved towards “strobing”. The way I understand it is that they use illuminating makeup to mimic where the light hits the planes of your face. It’s a move away from contouring, in that you’re not creating depth.

I think she was just trying to accentuate her cheekbones (hence they’re quite light), but overdid it with the bronzer underneath. It’s just a LOT of make up.

It made me think of Paulie Walnuts. I don’t think that is what she was going for.
