I feel you! If I had chosen to comment instead of lurk when I first started reading the page. Alas, the red pill has been tough to swallow.

It's too gross out in the desert heat anyway. Huzzah for my comfort zone.

Another reason to not attempt to cure my agoraphobia. That poor family, how terrible for them.

Also, I live in central AZ. It's pretty much always too hot to cover anmd heat stroke is no fun.

My Gramma was like that too. It took nearly a decade for her to fully retire because they couldn't find a suitable replacement.

Bravo! For me, covers blow. 2 of my 3 kiddos don't 'do' covers, and the 'fight' to keep a cover on them is more noticeable than just feeding them. I feed on demand, be it at home, at restaurants, or at Target.

When I was in high school I had a friend who was very dark skinned, he had an umbrella one sunny day when we were hanging out, walking to Taco Bell. I queried into the reason, as it was bright and clear out.

Why can't something like this happen to my ex? Come on karma, give a girl an assist!

So much truth!

I couldn't pull of the color. If they have black, yes please.

My oldest child loved Thomas and amassed a huge collection. When he turned 9 he abandoned Thomas for Lego. I couldn't bring myself to sell or give away the collection ($1000+).

My Auntie made my prom dress for me (1991). The dress by itself was very cute and could be worn today, though probably by a 12 year old, it wasn't red carpet sexy. My addition to the dress was a giant bow with tails that just touched the floor, ala Madonna. I'm so grateful for no internets back then.

I need a happy helmet right about now. Unbelievable!

It truly boggles the mind. Oy.

Have you seen Toddlers & Tiaras at a glitz pageant?

I read a blog that uses the term crotchfruit. It's a great term.

I'm sure Brewer is working on it. It's been to hot too come up with anything good. Sometimes, I hate my state.
