I get a sense that Bill Taylor may have done some of his explicit texts to create a documentation trail on purpose. He seemed pretty shocked by the whole situation - threatened to quit even. It feels like sort of a CYA move on his part.

I also dont think it was on purpose, but considering that you cant land on the QB anymore this seems pretty egregious. My biggest thing is he lead with his head and went high.
The slowness by which Bills fan bystanders tend to him (not to mention the fact they held onto their beers) is as 1:1 on-brand as it gets.
Would have never guessed he would come up short. Wide right maybe, but not short.
He’s not the same boy he used to be.
So best case, that piece of plywood breaks his fall and he’s fine?
Huh. Difficult to believe that didn’t work out.
You join the mafia, you either end up in prison or a body bag. That’s the risk you take
Just got back from the game. It was a powerful hit, and he got knocked out. But it didn’t look targeted or on someone who was defenseless. People get hurt on regular football plays sometimes, and I think the appropriate response was what happened: it was a flag, but not an ejectable hit.
The cart had to be carted off the field.
The shot of his face was what got me. I saw his body fall like a corpse and then I saw that while his eyes stayed open, as SOON as he got popped his eyes looked...blank. I seriously thought he might be dead.
Yeah, it was one of the scarier moments I’ve seen in a NFL game in a long while.
I dont recall ever seeing a player react like Juju did here. I wonder if Rudolph perhaps wasnt even breathing properly at the time. That was a “i’m scared that my teammate might actually die right now” type of reaction.
The medical cart will be driving in the Patriots parade in February.
That looked superscary and you could feel the concern from the Steelers. Hell, I can’t think of that many MMA fights where it took that long for someone to be moving about after the knockout. And even Rudolph got up, he couldn’t walk without two guys supporting him.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer fellow.
