I live in San Diego and IPAs are a PROBLEM.  Pushing out all my favorite imports off the shelves and out of the bars.

For craft beer yes 100%. Yes those other styles are being hyped and are growing segments of the market, but none of those are the MOST popular craft style. As long as NE IPAs are still considered IPAs this will be the case for the foreseeable future.
