You’re right on the second point, D&D went downhill fast starting with “Mhysa”, but I still think Confederate could be a really powerful premise if done well and not just as daydreaming for the state of Alabama.

Is all the hate for Confederate because it is taking D&D’s time away from Thrones?  I think it a pretty unique premise and Man in the High Castle has done well enough to show that alternate history drama can work
