Most items cost 65. The only ones that don't are helmets (120) and guns are 150. You get 5 from the daily mission, and then 6 from level 24 strikes, but you can also get marks from doing Crucible and public events.

I understand that it can take a little while, but it's really not that bad, and it's a helluva lot faster

Daily story and all of the Queen's missions are completely soloable, they scale based on the people in the party, and they're not particularly hard. The Queen's missions literally give you at least 1 free purple each time. Add in the fact that you can just buy legendaries, and it's really easy to get full purples

To be honest, both of their exclusives kinda suck so far. But I have way more friends on XBL, and I'm ridiculously into Halo, so my primary console was already decided. I contemplated jumping ship after e3 2013 but they turned it all around and I love my X1. I hope there's more exclusives for me besides Halo, though.

There's a difference between the normal usage of the word fantasy, and the genre fantasy.

Yeah, I already have a gaming PC and an X1, so I'm trying to decide which to get next. Wii U will have MK8 and SSB going for it by the end of the year, PS4 will have infamous and LBP 3. SSB and LBP are 2 of my favorite "I have drunk friends over" games and I don't know which one to get =/

I hate to break it to you, but 343i at their Gamescon conference said that H5 is going back to traditional arena gameplay, with no loadouts (although they show Armor Abilities in the trailer, so maybe they'll be pickups).

They definitely saw how fast H4 petered out compared to 2-Reach online. FFS, Halo 3 actually beat

He said they ban cards all the time, I stated that it's very rare. Standard has no banned cards at this time, even Modern has less than 30 total banned cards despite going all the way back to 8th Edition. Banning is rare, usually a counter ends up being found to cards that are initially deemed overpowered.

He meant that the 500 mill is being spent over 10 years across 3 games (which the 500 million number was shot down anyways). Destiny was only in development for 4 years, not 10 itself.

MtG very rarely bans cards, but I do agree that one nice thing about a digital game is being able to tweak cards instead of outright banning them.

Getting a group together in game will suck because there is NO communication without already being friends or in a party.

I agree that Valve/Steam does some stupid shit (terrible refund policy, slow client, etc), but as a person who loves CS but hates almost every F2P/microtransaction game, they did it fine. First off, it wasn't a "full price paid game", it's been $15 ever since it came out, 1/4 of most new games. Secondly, they

They did address some of those concerns, and until more comes out eventually I don't find any reason to support all the conspiracy theories about sites like this right now.

And calling out instances of stuff like this isn't trying to make everyone a misogynist, it's more about bringing attention to the fact that nearly

Look for the other render someone made, I saw it already posted in the comments here. And like I said, ripping it apart for being sexist and gross is fine, but don't act like crazy body postures aren't a huge thing in every comic. This is pretty realistic compared to shit in, say, The Dark Knight Strikes Again (not

While I agree completely with the intent behind this, multiple comments in the previous article on io9 already showed that this render is ridiculously inaccurate and ridiculous. Call it out on being sexist, but don't try and say it isn't doable, as that's not even a real argument. Look at any Spider-Man comic, he does

No matter what kind of fan you are, Judgment had that effect.

Seriously, I loved 1 and 2, and then 3 was just fricking brilliant, and one of my all time favorite shooters.

Judgment was just bad. Horrible (compared to 3) multiplayer, no Horde mode (wtf?), the campaign felt like a 3DS/PSVita style game with it's 5 minute

I have a friend who decided on PS4, but was legitimately torn because of Peggle 2. I guess for about a year his free time was spent playing Peggle blazed as shit and it was a pretty big deal to not get to play 2.

It's their opinion, and just because something is free doesn't mean it doesn't suck. And telling someone who's job is to critique and analyze games to not over think seems a bit ridiculous. They literally get paid to think about games (amongst other things).

It's an opinion piece, of course it's based on bias... you literally can't have a completely objective "This is the good, and bad, new stuff in a game" article.

Chess Kombat was amazing, by far my favorite of the mini-games the series has had.

That's probably for the best, as even the best of us (read: me) can sometimes vomit angrily, pretty sure I said the naughty f-word a few too many times on a different feminism post earlier (note: it wasn't directed at the feminists)
