As long as you download it (attach it to your account) during this month, even if your Gold lapses you can play it once you get Gold back. On 360 you keep them to play even if you drop Gold.

Running the original engine so identical gameplay, but completely remastered graphics, Halo 1 Anniversary was great, they did it perfectly.

Spartans have translation devices, the Covenant don't actually speak English in the games (although many Covenant know English in the expanded fiction) and they don't talk like that in every game, only in Halo 2, 3 (and I think) ODST. 1, Reach, and 4 all have them talking in their own language.
