What's that hiding in the picture of my PC area? IS THAT AN XBOX? AND COULD THAT BE OVER 60 360 GAMES ON THE SHELF IN VIEW OF SAID XBOX?

I'm starting to save up to buy one of the 2 consoles at launch. Being the Halo/Gears loving guy that I am, I'm obviously leaning towards Xbox. But, if one console doesn't allow used games or has always online DRM, fuck it. Halo's been a part of my life since Halo 1 came out, and I've put thousands of hours (and…
They were wrong then, because I replayed the entire series leading up to Halo 4, and when I checked out the online portion of H2V, there was usually 7-8 servers with anywhere from 6-16 players each. Of course, that's pretty anecdotal, as maybe they were "getting ready" for H4 as well, but it was definitely well above…
But you can't play Halo 2 on Xbox online either.
I hope Aliens CM doesn't suck.
Damn, and I was pissed when my last ex never got me my copies of LotR back.
Oh yeah, I played WoW for years, had thousands of hours into that game. Fantastic game, but I've moved on, and it sucks that as long as WoW is around we'll probably never get another Warcraft. Warcraft 3 is my favorite RTS of all time, I really enjoyed the idea of mixing in a dose of RPG with my RTS. Although WH40k…
Sadly, TOR probably fucked that up for us for a while.
I like Obsidian, but fuck, stop being an apologist for them. They always seem to be under funded and not allowed enough time. Therefore, it's ok for them to release games that don't work? No, its not ok. They still charge $60 for their games and wait for people to find out after they pay for it.
There were a lot of good ones that didn't place...
I remember someone making that picture, it just didn't place.
Even with the shitty graphics and generic looking gameplay, I was thinking about picking it up.
Ah, well, I'm glad you enjoy it. And I agree, it's a free game on a social site. But Facebook is coming out and saying that they want a piece of the "hardcore" market, and if their other attempts are going to look like this, it won't be easy for them.
It was like CoD if CoD had no production values and no thought put into it. I'm not a fan of CoD, but at least that game has fun mechanics and is well built.
I tried out Offensive Combat and it was terrible. Terrible gun mechanics, terrible map design, terrible graphics, etc. The only fun thing was that due to playing against the unwashed masses of Fb, I ended up with like a 4.0 kdr.
Guild Wars isn't F2P, it just doesn't have a subscription fee. You still buy the game.
It wasn't terrible, it just controlled really awkwardly with kb/m, but I'm sure if you plugged in a 360 controller it'd be fine, I don't remember any graphics/online issues.
How has a PC port of Halo 3 NOT been widely reported?
bah, meant to be a reply
Also, to clarify something, when I said, "Yeah, except that in CS you can't insta-spray kill a guy from across the map as soon as you start playing." I didn't mean as soon as the match starts, as you can't do that in either game. I meant when you first start playing, e.g. you just bought it. It's a game modeled around…
