There's a setting in Steam to never have pop-ups. I like them though, since they tell me when sales are going on, and they only pop up after you quit out of a game.

Same here, if they're going to make commenting as annoying and non-intuitive as possible, I hope they know that a lot of the people who comment every day just aren't going to bother with the hassle now. =/

The new comment system struck over at io9. It's been good knowing and talking to you guys. The site redesign sucked but didn't actually impair our ability to talk and use the site. This will.

Holy shit, that is cool.

For me at least, 10-20hrs turns into 50-60 hours of me fucking around and checking everything out and having a great time.

"Microsoft and Bethesda have a strategic business partnership. Bethesda gets benefits and Microsoft gets benefits. "

Miller isn't bad if you know what you're getting into. Back in the DKR days he was a great writer, now he's just kind of a batshit insane writer. That doesn't mean it can't be entertaining. All-Star Batman and Robin is fucking stupid as shit, but I absolutely loved it, lol. DKSA sucked kinda bad but it had good

I definitely need to pick up that Dinosaurs vs Aliens book... it sounds kinda dumb, but Morrison has never let me down, he's probably my favorite comic book writer of all time.

Played MtG for years but never really looked into the lore at all. I knew there were comics before this one, were they any good? And does anyone know if they ever published any TPBs of them? I don't really like single issue comics much as a way to read them.

When I watch movies I hate subtitles, as I'm usually fully engrossed and find them distracting, but I always turn them on in games. Games can be harder to hear when there is a lot going on, and I hate missing dialogue.

Only for Type 2 Standard format, which allows the last 2 blocks (aka last 6 expansions, of which there are 3 per year), plus the latest Core set, which comes out yearly. But many Core Set cards are reprinted, and you're allowed to use older editions of cards that got reprinted, so if you have an M12 card that got

Well, I bought DotP 2013, and I'm having fun, but I have to say this seems like a lot less of an upgrade than 2012 was to the original. Planechase is great fun in real life, and seems like it will be alright online, but it goes on for way too long, and is way too random, for me to enjoy when playing the AI. I LOVED

Reading the books first is a good idea since it lets your imagination depict the events instead of just seeing the sets/actors from the movie, but both the books and the movie trilogy are just fucking great. If possible watch the extended cuts of the films, unfortunately it makes them really long, but they're worth

I EAT JUSTICE

Metalocolypse and Venture Bros. are still great, but they've been doing a lot more live action shows and most of them suck ass. Tim and Eric is especially terrible.

"Admit that Final Fantasy Versus XIII was never actually a real thing, and that Tetsuya Nomura has just been dreaming this whole time."

In the US at least, you don't have to claim a source of income as long as you make under $600 a year from it...

That's kinda silly, do you really think 95% of gamers don't play the game for more than an hour within 3 days?... I know that I got well past SK on launch day =/
