Everyone in this show that isn't Kim is a habitual line stepper, man. That's the first time in awhile I was legit pissed at Jimmy. Irene was dragging her goddamn feet in the settlement, but they had no idea there was even an issue to begin with, so why would she worry about that?

My thing is we don't know that he doesn't have body dismorphia or shame, because there hasn't been an interest in exploring it. I feel like if it's just a representation of his greed, then it's a shitty concept, because of what we know about bulimia from a conventional standpoint. Bulimics don't actually want to eat

I think Nikki had some agency. I mean it's basically her ideas that get this mess started. And she's the one who carries out the air conditioner death. But it just feels like the show gets distracted by it's own plot threads, so there is never time to flesh out characters. Like, we go from bridge hustling to petty

Yeah, that Lost comparison makes sense. Though for whatever reason it's only a slight annoyance rather than an all out frustration like Lost. Maybe that's the beauty of an anthology series. You only have to put up with it for one season and then we reset.

Cool episode but the criticism that it feels disjointed is fair. Seems like the review is more of a "of the final two episodes tie this thing together, I'll feel better about this episode overall."

Something about the way a lot of the characters acted felt more than just Fargo stupidity. Seems like they tried to push that particular aspect fo Fargo to the extreme this season. It can be a little frustrating to watch.

Varga might be the worst character so far in the series. Probably the only character I haven't liked. He has no dimension outside of his eating disorder and even that feels like something they tacked on to appear like he has layers. They've done nothing with it, and like the new Chief, it's becoming a bit frustrating

"Syphilitic floozy," was a classic, as well. That whole rant was hilarious.

Damn. they're making it easy for me to check out if this early.

It's the best of the core series. I will give you that.

I really dislike that film, personally.

Hahaha I was texting my friend "Cypher is the only acceptable death."

There is more than just the "final girl," style slasher film tho. Death in horror films comes in a lot of forms. Could be a monster movie. Or something like "Carrie" that isn't built around the hunting and killing of characters one by one. A lot of people die in that movie.

Not necesssrily a slasher film tho.
It's a horror film built around an ensemble cast of teenagers. That's usually a film where a lot of people die. Could easily be a monster film built around Wolfsbane. Or Magik going off the rails, like Carrie. I wouldn't call Carrie a slasher film but a lot of people die in that

This is my question. "fulll horror" to me means a final girl type deal. They gonna kill a bunch if characters that could potentially be the start of a new franchise?

Ehhhhhh, I'd rather they just went more supernatural but kept the superhero elements. I don't think the X verse has a decent team based comic book movie yet. Seems like a possible waste if they go "full horror" and kill a bunch of decent characters.

It's not just Trump himself.. It's the way the campaign season unfolded. There hasn't been anything like that previously. It was treated more like a reality show, and general celebrity gossip more than any other Presidential race before it. People really didn't start taking the actual politics seriously until after

That's one of the reasons why this presidency is so Fucking bad, behind the obvious awful policies and bigotry. Trump might have completely fucked the campaign process. Seems like anyone can be president with enough money and fame, and that's worrying.

This show's inability to commit to any one development for more than an episode or so is pretty frustrating. No reason to basically hit a soft reset at this point. Kind of makes me wish Gavin had given Richard the patent the first time Richard went to Gavin's house.

I kind of understand where Cannes is coming from. As Netflix moves to make the majority of their programming original content, it really only benefits Netflix if one of their films win a major award at Cannes.
If part of the goal of these award shows is to promote and preserve the theater business, I understand why
