You know the article you linked to also says its safer right

So we're blaming the victim here?

You wrote that the way cyclists you seen have acted on trails must also be the way all cyclists act on roads.

And you don't think road signs etc apply to cyclists as well - hint they do. The fact remains that the number one danger to cyclists are bad drivers, the number one danger to drivers are also bad drivers. Drivers cause the vast majority of accidents despite having absolutely no more right to be on the road than

Not defending the genuine arsehole cyclists out there - but people quite often do walk straight in front of cyclists without looking pr giving any warning and unless your bike has disk brakes you can't come to a dead stop that quickly.

Oh dear Gods - road tax hasn't existed since the 1930s . Bloodly Winston Church got rid of it. There is no tax that any road user pays that solely goes towards maintaining the roads. You pay Vehicle Excise Duty I am exempt as are electric car drivers and disabled drivers. BTW VED is not earmarked for maintaining the

In the UK taking the lane is actually recommended although that doesn't stop ignorant drivers screaming at you when you so it.

Sorry you've had a shitty time with cyclists - but drivers are responsible for 75% of adult cycling accidents (in the UK at least) so your undoubtedly shitty experience is not the norm. And yes the ones you've had to deal with do sound like arseholes - although I do wonder why they aren't separate trails for walkers

Frankly in most cases I think we're being safe and considering the number of jerk car drivers who either because they don't drive safely or are actively malicious towards cyclists we need to protect ourselves as best we can from cars.

And yet it still arsehole car drivers that cause 75% of adult cycle accidents. Also car driving is not heavily regulated - for most people you have to pass driving test and the your set.

Actually there really is

I love this design so much - its amazing. It's different enough from what we thing of as Greek/Roman armour that she obviously comes from a separate but related place/country. It actually looks like it would offer some protection (despite the neck spike thing). She's wearing flats not heals!

This, so much.

I really like the change . While the miniskirt worked brilliantly in the comic I think it would be too much for live action - it'd look a bit exploitative to have her in this tiny costume in a way it doesn't in the comic because of Michael Avon Oeming's drawing style.

That's an excellent video - I love the fact that while promoting the hell out of female scientists its also not sugarcoating the problems women face while working in the field(s).

Good gods that is deeply deeply ugly!

I do part time admin stuff round my uni and one of the people I work for has me submitting their papers - most open access costs for their field (public health) seems to be around the £1,000 - £1,500 mark and come out of the funding budget for the project. Quite often these costs would have been included in the

Wow that looks such a fun pool to swim in - with one hell of a view to boot!
